Louth Beekeepers Membership

At Louth District Beekeepers we are always happy to welcome new members.

There are several membership options available with the most popular membership subscription being the Full Membership. The full membership means you will receive the BBKANews monthly magazine, you will be able to attend BBKA events as well as receive some insurance cover.

Full Member: £32.50

An active beekeeper or someone wishing to be treated as such becomes a member of the local District, Lincolnshire Beekeepers Association (LBKA) and British Beekeepers Association (BBKA). As a Registered Member of the BBKA:

• Receive BBKA News magazine monthly

• Attend BBKA events

• Product and Public liability insurances to £10M

• From BDI, bee disease insurance for the first 3 hives (optional extra premiums for additional hives: £1.20 up to 5 hives, £4.70 up to 10, £7.75 up to 15, £9.50 up to 20, £11.10 up to 25, £13.60 up to 30)

As voting members of LBKA:

• Receive Quarterly Review magazine and Directory of Members

• Attend LBKA events

• Attend District events

Partner Member: £21.00

A member who is an active beekeeper with all rights as above except that they share BBKA andLBKA publications with the Full Member who lives at the same address and there is no separate BDI in their own name (this is an optional extra).

Country Member: £15.50

A member who is not an active beekeeper has access to all District activities and some LBKA activities at the discretion of the organisers.

Junior Member: £6.50

Beekeepers under the age of 18 with all benefits of Full membership.
